ELECTRONICS
[ ]MSN
For the lucky people who have a functioning computer in their possession... feel free to talk to other privileged citizens in your gaudy chatspeak.
00
[ ]CELL PHONES
Not to be confused with the scientific cell, these are phones. They're rather amazing contraptions.
00
[ ]EMAIL
God forbid anyone use email! But some people are so awesome they do keep in touch this way. If you have a computer nearby, anyway.
00
[ ]PICTOCHAT
For the lucky students who happen to have a Nintendo DS on hand (even though you really shouldn't have those tsktsk), feel free to boast your best drawing skills... or your Pokemanz.
00
[ ]LETTERS & JOURNALS
More of a personal means of communication. A place where the juiciest gossip can be found; just make sure you keep your journal well-hidden.
00
SCHOOL
[ ]COURTYARD
[image]
The first thing you come to before walking inside the school is the courtyard. Somewhat spacious with benches randomly placed about, there is a fountain directly in the middle. It serves as a relaxation station for the students... or a good place to get into trouble.
00
[ ]OFFICE
[image]
Students run in and out, to and fro, running errands for teachers or simply skipping class. The secretary, although seemingly an angry old man, does not seem to mind. Drop by, say hi... but watch out. The principal doesn't exactly share the secretary's views.
00
[ ]CAFETERIA
[image]
Directly across the main office, past the main entrance, and through a thin hallways lined with white bricks slabs, is the cafeteria. Although it cannot fit the student body in its entirety at one time, it's probably one of the school's major props. Well, at least the food is.

[ ]GYMNASIUM (1 sub-board)
With its long wooden floors, and high ceiling lights, the gymnasium is the perfect place for the physical education classes of Belvedere.
00
[ ]BAND ROOM
[image]
Every school has to have a band! The Belvedere Zebra Marching and Concert Band meet here to rehearse and play their music. It's practically a second home for the band geeks. GO BAND GEEKS!
Also functions as music classes.
00
[ ]AUDITORIUM (1 sub-board)
For minor injuries or simple cuts, the nurse's office is the place to go. With white walls, white tile, and the stench of peroxide, it may not be a pleasant experience, but you'll feel better.
00
[ ]SCHOOL LIBRARY
[image]
In the middle of the main hallway, there is the library. It is by no means a perfect library, but any student that is determined enough to find what they need (or what they want) can find it. Just don't ask the librarian, Mr. Burns, for help. He's not the nicest of people.

00
[ ]COMPUTER LAB
[image]
Just a simple, rectangular room with teal carpet and white walls. The computers aren't exactly up-to-date but they're not that slow. The only sites you can get to, supposedly, are Wikipedia, Google, Yahoo, and the school's homepage... but how does that even work out?

00
[ ]LOUNGE (3 sub-boards)
The lounge is situated between the boys' and girls' dorm. Decorated with red velvet or wood furniture, it sports three sofas, two chairs, and a desk. There is a worse-for-wear bookshelf that holds only late library books. The only type of technology in the room sits in the center of it, against a window: a 24-inch screen, almost-full color television.

00
[ ]BOYS' DORMS

DOWNTOWN
[ ]21ST CENTURY CINEMA
[image]
21st Century Cinema is Belvedere's only theater. It has six show times and the movies here manage to keep up with the times. Something rather odd about it: on Sundays, they like to go back and play old Disney movies with tickets at half price.

00
[ ]BEN & JERRY'S
[image]
Who doesn't like ice cream? The building seems out of place, being positioned between an antique store and an old bowling alley... but the sign in the door could easily lure any unwary human into the store. It reads: Ice cream inside.

00
[ ]HALLUCINATION STATION
[image]
Named so for the numerous graffiti of marijuana leaves all over the park, it has nothing to do with the children (and sometimes adults) that spend there time there. That's not to say the air is clean here...

00
[ ]LIBRARY
[image]
Considerably better than the school library, the Belvedere Library actually has helpful librarians and a janitor. There is a section for almost every genre, the section in religion lacking somewhat... but who cares? Occasionally there will be a local author on showcase.

[ ]POLICE STATION (1 sub-board)
One of the places downtown you don't want to wind up. Everyone who enters is promptly scanned for metal objects, and, yes, there have been cavity checks done on occasion. That in itself is enough to make some people abide by the law.
00
[ ]POST OFFICE
[image]
Bill and scholarship central, occasionally the citizens of Belvedere will get something useful... such as love letters from a secret admirer. Make sure you put emphasis on the word sometimes, though.
Closed on Sundays.

00
[ ]ROLLING THUNDER
[image]
Though not the most appealing of names, who doesn't want to go to a roller skating rink? It's a great place for a friends' night out, and the owner knows it. Admission is seven dollars, five on Saturdays!

00
[ ]STARBUCKS
[image]
Perfect place for the coffee lover. Also perfect for the lazy everyday person who doesn't feel like paying three dollars worth of gas to drive out to the Starbucks in the mall. Who likes Borders anyway?

[ ]SUMMER DAE'S SWIMMING
[image]
The town's local swimming pool, owned by the Dae family (hence the awkward spelling in the name). The outdoor pool is open only during mid-spring and summer, but don't worry. There is a much smaller indoor pool. In that building. Over there.

00
[ ]THE BUZZ
[image]
If bright lights, strobes, and blasting techno music is your thing, then The Buzz is the ideal location for you. Be prepared to deal with crazy, skintight clothes that just might scar you for life. And the drunkards. The place does serve alcohol, but definitely, positively, not to students.

00
[ ]YMCA
[image]
The YMCA is for any health-conscious civilian, student or adult. It has the usual: a pool, weight room, rock climbing wall. There is also an ice skating rink that is open all year long!

00
[ ]ANYWHERE ELSE!
Oh, the places you'll go...
00
OUTSKIRTS
[ ]AHMER'S DOCK
[image]
The name originated from the first principal of Belvedere who had the lake built in hopes of giving the students something to do...something other than going to that wretched mall, anyway. Placed a mile from the school, getting there is rough. Dirt road. Whenever you do manage to reach the lake, remember to watch out. There aren't any depth measurements out here.

[ ]AVANTIN HEIGHTS PARK (2 sub-boards)
Clean, wide, and spacious, the park makes for a common hangout for students looking to take a stroll, play sports, and or to just chill out. You can take your pick of one of the few wooden benches, though the huge cherry blossom tree in the center of the park proves to be one of the more popular places to study or relax.

00
[ ]BELVEDERE MALL (10 sub-boards)
00
[ ]FAIRGROUNDS
[image]
Although currently empty and free to enter, students can meander about the grounds. Checking out the race track and walking around on uneven gravel are among the many "desirable" attractions. But, hey, it's a way to get away from the school and teachers.

00
[ ]GRAVEYARD (1 sub-board)
Peaceful and eerie in the daytime, dark and foreboding at night, the Belvedere graveyard houses many superstitions. One of these superstitions is that a grim has made its den in the underground, which would explain the what-used-to-be rabbit carcasses that pop up every once in a while. A place to mourn, cry, or scare the bejeezus out of your friends.

[ ]MEXICO FARMS
[image]
Owned by one of the families of Belvedere, Mexico Farms boards horses as well as allowing those less fortunate to take riding lessons. We are not responsible for any injuries.

00
[ ]SACRED HEART MEMORIAL (1 sub-board)
The paved road that runs past the school is a dead end. Fortunately, before the road runs out, there is a hospital. Sacred Heart Memorial has three stories. Built from white brick, it's a pretty little place... but you definitely don't want to end up here. Your injuries must be pretty bad if the school sent you here.

00
[ ]ANYWHERE ELSE!
You'll be on your way up! You'll be seeing great sights! You'll join the high fliers and soar to high heights!
